The Stogie Review samples a trio of 6×60 Xikar HC Series Cigars. One each of the Connecticut, Habano Colorado and Criollo. U.S. Court Rules Against Cubans on Cohiba Brand

David Savona of Cigar Aficionado Magazine reports that the 13-year battle for the world’s most prestigious cigar brand, Cohiba, may be concluded thanks to a Manhattan appeals court ruling in favor of General Cigar Company. Toraño’s Retake Distribution of Brands From CAO

From CigarCyclopedia.com comes news that the Toraño Family will be retaking control of the distribution of it’s brands, currently handled by CAO International, effective August 1. Yesterday, The Washington Post‘s Breaking News Blog reported that Judge Sean D. Wallace has decided on the legality of Prince George’s County (MD) legislation that banned the sale of single cigars, requiring stores to sell them in packages of at least five.
