New Arrivals at Drapers: La Palina Family Series

8 September 2010

Joining La Palina’s Limited Edition 1896 Robusto at W. Curtis Draper Tobacconist is The Family Series: The Babe, Pasha, Alison and Little Bill (Select the thumbnail above to view the full image).

From La Palina Cigars:
Wrapper: Ecuador or Costa Rica
Binder: Costa Rica
Filler: Honduras and Nicaragua

The Family Series is exquisitely constructed and beautifully presented. The Babe (5.25 x 50) and Pasha(7.25 x 50) are wrapped with a delicately flavored Costa Rican capa. This mild-to-medium bodied blend is well balanced with a light and creamy taste that has a hint of both spice and sweetness on the finish.

The Alison (6 x 52) and Little Bill (4.5 x 52) have the added intensity of an Ecuadorian wrapper that is perfumed and velvety. The naturally fermented, aged ligero filler is a highlight of this blend, creating a medium-bodied smoke with smooth, spicy notes.
